Stakeholders Spit Fire, Ready For Showdown With Orelope-Adefulire’s OSSAP-SDGS Over Fake N43.2m Bus Supply Contract To Victory College, Ikare Akoko
Stakeholders of Victory College, Ikare Akoko in Ondo State have vowed to take action against the Office of Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (OSSAP-SDGs) which allegedly denied the school of a N43.2 million bus contract. The stakeholders of the school are angry that the millions of Naira meant for the purchase of the vehicle had already been taken out of the nation’s treasury through embezzlement and corruption.
Through investigation, this newspaper has unraveled how Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (OSSAP-SDGs), allegedly paid the sum of N43,222,289.72 on 21 May 2021 to the Zenith Bank account 1014049038 belonging to AYFIR Construction Company Nigeria Limited for the supply of 1 NO YUTONG ZK,6737D bus a 27seater diesel engine to Victory College, Ikare Akoko, Ondo State
The money was not only siphoned, but the bus was also never supplied to the school.
Some of the stakeholders of the school who got to read media report of the scandal were furious that such fraudulent transaction could happen at OSSAP-SDGs to the detriment of young students who are in need of the bus.
“We will mobilized mass action for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to be aware of this scandal. Most of us were surprised when the news of this fraud broke out in the media. We wonder what kind of people are put in charge of managing our commonwealth.
“This is not something we will keep quiet on, we must know where the money went to and the motive behind this fraud, and more importantly the people behind this evil act at OSSAP-SDGs.,” one of the old students at the school who craved for anonymity for security reason.
The Office of Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (OSSAP-SDGs) is enmeshed in what could be described as multidimensional frauds raging from payment of billions of Naira under the guise of consultancy, phony contracts and awarding contracts to the staff and aides, duplication of contract payments and expended billions of Naira on travelling and allowances despite economic recession the country is currently passing through.
